Robert S Smith (1701-1744) was the son of Capt. Charles Smith (1657-1710) m. Dorothy Buckner (1673-1745)

Capt. Charles Smith (1657-1710) is the son of Major Lawrence Smith (1629-1700) m. Mary Debnam (1631-1687)

P.S. There are Robert Smith's "galore". Easy to get them confused. These Smith's are my direct ancestor's.
