Biography

Robert's parentage has not been determined yet. Robert married Margaret Lambert (daughter of Jane Speak and Benjamin Lambert) in Lancashire, England, in October 1826. Robert and Margaret had two daughters in England before immigrating to Canada where they had seven more children. Robert settled his family in Burford, Ontario, and remained there until his death in 1880.
