Smith Family A - Saltfleet - Silas Smith
Silas Jr, born 30 September, 1788, served in the War of 1812 with the 4th Lincoln regiment. Silas married Anna Tallman of Clinton, 24 February, 1814. Anna was born 1797, died 1842; buried at The Fifty. Silas had a second wife named Julia. Silas and Anna had six children, we record the names of three: William, Mary Ann, and Esther.
