Mary Alice[1] Smith[2] was born Mar 10 1884 in Covington County,[3] Alabama[1][2] to Andrew Jackson Smith and Martha Susan Franklin.[3]

She married Robert[2] "Bob"[1] Burdick and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Earnest Burdick was born about 1908 in Alabama.[1][2]
  2. Bernice Burdick was born about 1910 in Alabama.[1][2]
  3. Tats Burdick was born about 1916 in Alabama.[2]
  4. Sam Burdick was born about 1917 in Alabama.[1][2]
  5. Mary E. Burdick was born about 1918 in Alabama.[2]
  6. E. Burdick was born about 1920 in Alabama.[2]

Mary died 27 May 1947 in Covington County, Alabama[3][4] and is buried in New Home Congregational Church Cemetery, Andalusia, Covington County, Alabama.[5]

Maternal line DNA confirmed via triangulation with triangulated match group to copmmon ancestor, Mary's grandfather, John A. Franklin.[6]
