Mary E. Smith was born in February 1859 in Lawrence County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Samuel Smith and Sarah Lee. She passed away in March 1928 in Kay County, Oklahoma and is buried in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Kay County, Oklahoma.
Samuel and wife, Sarah, with children Jacob and Mary. They are living among other Lee families which may include parents and/or grandparents of Sarah. Need to check this out.
Widowed Samuel with children Mary, John, Jerusha, and James. Sarah apparently died about the time or shortly after the birth of her last child James in 1868.
