Do any of the PMs have an objection to removing Agnes Shotwell Stocking Webster as an unmerged match to this profile? That profile is marked with the Uncertain Existence template. The other option is to merge the other profile into this one, and retain the language and sources about her disputed origins.

Thoughts?

I'll stick my oar in again (big surprise) and say that the unmerged match should be removed. Agnes Shotwell-7, if she exists, seems to be either a second wife of George Stocking-2 or a duplicate of George's wife Anne/Anna Unknown-435684 who was named in his will. But in either case, it seems there is no support for her being a duplicate of this Agnes (Smith) Webster since the "George Stocking married the widow of John Webster" theory as stated in the unsourced 1903 "Stocking Ancestry..." private publication (itself apparently quoting an 1896 article) appears to be unsupported.

I'd agree with that Brad. It might make sense to change the last name at birth for Shotwell-7 to Unknown, and then retain Shotwell as one of her Other uncertain Last Names, as well, considering her name is not really known.

Brad & S Willson, A follow-up -

Are you recommending that I change the LNAB of Shotwell-7 to Unknown?

Well, S-Will recommended that and it's justified since the only source for "Shotwell" is an unsourced genealogy book, but I was still researching it before making the change. It's a unique enough name that hopefully I can find something within a few days. It may just be left over from the search for the LNAB of Agnes Smith, wife of John Webster before her name was found but I wanted to poke on it a little more.

Does not work? Anyone familiar with this source?

I've entered an unmerged match for the second wife of George Stocking based on numerous sources but more research is needed. I'm looking to see if this has been disproved, any additional information is welcome on this subject!

Her death date in the source is 1667 in Hadley, Massachusetts. However, on the profile its listed as July, 15, 1655? I was looking for the source of 1655 date to include in my personal records.
