I'v seen a few comments and questions about Sylvanus Wright Smithson who was my 2nd great grandfather died in 1872. With wife Annis Laura Hodges had Joseph Carroll Smithton who with Laura Lillard Wilson gave birth to my grandmother Mary Edna Smithson and among other siblings was a brother also named Sylvanus.
