William Snowden was married first to Elizabeth Bridgham, daughter of Henry Bridgham and Lydia Allen, [2] on 31 Dec 1723 at Boston, where William and Elizabeth had 2 sons and 2 daughters born 1724-1733 [3] and where Elizabeth (Bridgham) Snowden died before 1739.

William Snowden married second Mehetabel Stearns, daughter of Samuel Stearns and Mary Brown of Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts, [4] on 19 Mar 1738/9 at Boston, where William and Mehetabel had 2 sons and 1 daughter born 1740-1745, [5] and where William Snowden died before his inventory was taken 07 Mar 1748, [6] and Mehetabel (Stearns) Snowden died after the guardianship of her children was settled on 05 Sep 1755. [7]

I see the marriage was in 1763, and Snowden-31 William Snowden (1700-1748) had been deceased for 15 years by then, so possibly son Snowden-194 Richard Snowden, or son Snowden-195 William Snowden, or a son of brothers Richard Snowden or David Snowden could be “Mr. Snowden” in the marriage record. There is insufficient detail to be able to determine this with certainty.

Boston church records show a Peter, black servant to Mr Snowden, married Nanny, black servant to Mrs Fletchers.
