Biography

"[Ely Rashdall] also says that White Breast's father was called Kee-zuntshga [Kizų́čka], meaning soft-shelled turtle, and his grandfather was called Ma-sho-pa-ka [Mąčopaga], meaning grizzly bear head. Both lived at Koshkonong and Soft Shelled Turtle was a physician. He was said to have been possessed of such professional skill that all of his patients recovered, and there was no graveyard at Koshkonong." (Jipson, Villages, 227; Story, 234-235)
