Joseph was living with his daughter and son-in-law in Worcester, Massachusetts at the time of his death. His death certificate stated he was 74 years, 8 mos, 28 days old when he died 20 Apr 1904, so that would make his birthdate 23 Dec 1829. his occupation is listed as carpenter on his daughter's marriage record.
