Biography
Nancy was born about 1750 in North Carolina or Virginia. Her maiden name was Sparks. Sparks families lived in Rowan County, North Carolina. She was married to Nathaniel Watson in about 1767. The marriage may have been in Pittsylvania County in Virginia. No actual record has been found to date. She and Nathaniel had several children.
Anderson Watson born about 1770 Thomas Watson born about 1771
She moved with her husband to Surry County, North Carolina. Her husband served in the Surry County Regiment of North Carolina Militia during the Revolutionary War. She and Nathaniel moved to Pittsylvania County, Virginia and were living there in 1782 per the census. She died about 1787. Her husband was remarried about 1790 and moved to South Carolina.
