9/1/2020 - Denise Jarrett - I have found a slave ship manifest of 1859 showing where Drucilla Spearman (a 13-year-old mulatto) was shipped from the port in Mobile, Alabama to the port Ponchatrain, which recorded F G Spearman as the owner. Drucilla was in a record on 19 December 1859 in Mobile, Alabama, United States.[2]
That being said, I do not believe Drucilla and Francis Graves Spearman were actually married but their relationship produced several children.
Drucilla Spearman is also recorded in the 1850 census as the 6-year-old (inferred daughter) of Graves Spearman and Lucy Spearman.
