Nathan was born on 9 Jul 1764 in Sussex, New Jersey. He was the son of William Spencer and Sarah (Sharp) Spencer.

He married Hannah Holly.

He died on 19 Jan 1840 in Tioga,Tioga, NY ,USA. He was buried in Tioga Cemetery.[1]
