Joseph Sprigg is mentioned in his grandfather Joseph Belt's will.[1]
Research Notes
Some sources suggest that Capt. Thomas Sprigg (c.1750 - 1810), of Frederick, Maryland, might have been the son of Joseph Sprigg and Hannah Lee. The dates don't seem to fit, although there is some unreliability in the data, but he may have been related in some other manner, nevertheless.
