Sarah was born about 1726 in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Francis Spry and Rebecca Unknown.
She was named in her father's will dated 17 January 1740, proved 23 November 1741.[1]
She married James Knotts on 1 August 1745 at Saint Luke's Protestant Episcopal Parish in Church Hill, Queen Anne's County, Maryland.[2] They had one known child, a daughter. She was:
