Biography
Mildred 'Jean' St.Clair was born in Harrison Township, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana, the daughter of Albert 'Gene' St.Clair and Kathleen M. Kelly.
Jean last saw her father when she was about 6 years old. She hired Elton Smith, from Milwaukee, to find her father in the last 1980's. My sister lived across the street from our grandmother's house where Gene lived after leaving the military. Mr. Smith recognized the last name, Leckliter, from the next of kin listed on Gene's death record and the address being on the same street as his address at death. He sent a letter to my sister and from their Jean was able to meet a few of her cousins and hear stories of her father.
