Rachel A Steffey was born to Solomon Steffey and Helen Frederickson 14 March 1865. The 1870 Census reports a two year old Rachel, but the 1900 reports her birth date as March 1865.[1][2][3][4]
Family
She married first Ruben Pisel on November 9, 1885. This union produced one daughter, Edith Clara Pisel.[1][5][6][7]
Data Doctors normally creates an error related to the date of death not matching FaG. Rachel passed away in May 1914 but she is listed in the household of James Hall on a 1920 census record. After researching the obituary notices of her children and discussing with the Find-a-Grave profile manager, it's likely that the 1920 census record is incorrect. Obituaries of family members who died between 1914-1920 refer to Rachel as deceased. She passed away in Iowa and is buried at Saint John's Cemetery in Lisbon.[10][11][4]
1914 Death, Linn County, Iowa probably in May 1914.[4]
1914 Burial, Saint John's Cemetery, Lisbon, Iowa.[4]
