Obituary for Bessie May Stambaugh Patton June 29, 1978 Rites Held Monday For Mrs. Bessie Patton

Services for Mrs. Bessie M. Patton, 84, of rural Littleton, were held at 2:30 p. m. Monday at Roby Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Lawrence Childers officiating. Burial was in Littleton cemetery.

She died at 9:05 p. m. Friday at Culbertson Memorial Hospital after nearly four years of illness.

She was born in Browning township, Schuyler county, Dec. 9, 1893, a daughter of Albert and Susan Robertson Stambaugh. She received her education in Ridgeville school. She married Frank Patton Dec. 23, 1925, at Rushville.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Hugh G. (Hezzy) of Littleton; one brother, Earl Stambaugh of Browning township; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Frew of Canton; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of Assembly God church in Browning township.
