Petition
To the Worshipfull the Court of the County of Frederick. The petitioners of Sundry Inhabitants of the County Humbly Sheweth, that some time agoe the court of the said County was pleased to order a road to be opened from Barkley line by John Berrys to the Hampshire line, (the Petitioners to work on the said Road only). The Road was immediately opened and has been repaird, but as many of the former petitioners are moved away and daily lessoning, and the road is found to be very usefull to the inhabitance, as well as travelars, we the present petitioners humbly desiereth, that the said court would please to order the tythabls living four miles each side of said road to work there on to keep the same in repare, and we in deuty are evevr bound to pray, etc.
