William Stanley, Esq., Sheriff of Cheshire was born circa 1405 (aged 23 in 1428) at of Hooton and Stanley, Staffordshire, England.[1]
In He married Mary Savage, daughter of Sir John Savage, Bailiff of the Forest of Macclesfield, Constable of Halton Castle, Chamberlain of Middlewich and Maud Swynnerton.[1][2]
