Alvina was born in August 7,1861 in Roseville, Gaspe, Quebec. She was the daughter of John Stanley and Louisa Rose. She married Elias Nicolas Guignon on September 22, 1881 in Roseville, Gaspe, Quebec. Their witnesses were Edith Jane Stanley, L. Mosher and Sarah Birmingham. She passed away July 5,1935 in Rosebridge, Gaspe, Quebec.
