(age 4 - born in Kentucky and at home), his inferred sister Mary A. (age 2 - born in Kentucky) and his inferred sister America (age 4/12 - born in Kentucky)[4].
In 1880, William (age 19 - worked on the farm), lived in Pond Creek, Pike County, Kentucky, with his father Joseph (age 42 - worked in farming), his mother Jane (age 40 - worked in housekeeping), his sister Elen (age 16 - name as recorded and at home), his brother John (age 14 - worked on the farm), his sister Mary A. (age 12 - at home), his sister America (age 10 - at home), his brother George (age 8 - born in Kentucky and at home), his sister Ony (age 6 - born in Kentucky), his brother Tom Turner (age 2 - born in Kentucky) and his brother Joseph E. R. (age 2/12 - born in Kentucky)[5].
On May 4, 1881,William married Delilah Staton, in Pike County, Kentucky[6][7] They had at least 12 children.[3].
In 1900, Wm. M. (age 39 - name as recorded, born in July of 1860, in Kentucky and worked as a farmer), lived in Big Creek, Pike County, Kentucky, with his wife Delilah (age 44 - born in November of 1855, in Kentucky), their son Lenord (age 16 - name as recorded and born in May of 1883, in Kentucky), their daughter Allie N. (age 14 - born in February of 1886, in Kentucky and attended school), their son Landon (age 9 - born in June of 1890, in Kentucky and attended school), their daughter Mary (age 8 - born in May of 1892, in Kentucky and attended school), their son Joseph (age 3 - born in May of 1897, in Kentucky) and their daughter Ona (age 1 - born in May of 1900, in Kentucky)[8].
William Moses Stanley (age 87 years and 30 days old), passed away, of Cardiovascular Disease, due to old age, on August 6, 1947, in Ransom, Pike County, Kentucky.[9] and was buried on August 8, 1947, in Canada, Kentucky, presumably in a private family cemetery; Bobbie Stanley was the informant[10].
