Eleanor (Stanley) Fay was a New Hampshirite.

Eleanor Stanley is the daughter of John Stanley and Sarah (last name unknown). Arrived and settled in Augusta, New York with her parents in the mid-1790's and then moved with them to Rutland, New York where her brother Daniel, father John, and she and her husband, Sherebiah Fay purchased land and settled.

She married Sherebiah Fay in 1786.^[1]

Both she and her husband are buried at the Brookside Cemetery, Watertown, New York

First daughter of John Stanley and Sarah (last name unknown) Date of birth noted is date of baptism, actual date of birth unknown.

Ellen (Eleanor) married Sherebiah Fay and they moved to the area of Litchfield, NY in about 1793 and remained there for 3 years. The family moved to Augusta, NY where they reunited with other family members; father John, brothers Jedediah and Daniel, and sister Susannah Smiley.
