Biography

Thomas was born about 1893. He is the son of John Stanley and Emma Perryman.

In 1901, John Stanley (31, b Birmingham), a Market Porter, was head of household at St. Martin, Birmingham. Also present were his wife Emma Stanley (30 b Birmingham), and children John Stanley (9 b Birmingham), Thomas Stanley (7 b Birmingham), Sam Stanley (5 b Birmingham), and Ellen Stanley (2 b Birmingham).

In 1911, John Stanley (41, b Birmingham), a Wheel Maker, was head of household at St. Martin, Birmingham. Also present were his wife Emma Jane Stanley (40 b Birmingham), and children John Stanley (19 b Birmingham), a Labourer Porter (City Markets), Thomas Stanley (17 b Birmingham), a Bootmaker, Sam Stanley (15 b Birmingham), a Cabinet Maker, and Ellen Stanley (12 b Birmingham). Also present was a visitor, John Walsh (38 b Birmingham).
