Martha (Stanley) Hague was born in Yorkshire, England.

Martha was born on 10 April 1842 at Hunter House Farm, Ecclesfield, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom.[1] Her parents were William Stanley and Hannah (Crookes) Brookes. Martha, daughter of William & Hannah, was baptised on 22 May 1842 in Ecclesfield, St Mary, Yorkshire (West Riding), England.[2]

In the 1851 census Martha (age 8) was the daughter of James Brook in Grenoside, Ecclesfield, Yorkshire, England.[3]

In the 1861 census Martha (age 18) was the daughter of James Brooke in Ecclesfield, Yorkshire, England.[4]


Martha married John Hague in the December quarter of 1866 in the Wortley registration district.[5]

In the 1881 census Martha (age 38) was the wife of John Hague at 19 Button Lane, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England.[6]
