Biography

Comfort Starr was born 15 Nov 1666 in Boston, Massachusetts[1][2] or about 1669 in Middletown, Hartford, Connecticut[3]

He married Elizabeth Hobson.

Comfort died 1 May 1743 in Guilford, Connecticut.

The year of birth (1669) of Comfort Starr II is taken from the Inventory of the estate of his father, also named Comfort Starr, who died October 1693, in Middletown, Connecticut. The Inventory was taken in December 1693 by William Cheeny, Samuel Collins, and John Hall. The children named are

  1. Comfort age 24 years,
  2. Joseph 17,
  3. Benjamin 15,
  4. Thomas 7,
  5. Daniel 4,
  6. Mary Starr 22,
  7. Hannah 20,
  8. Rachel 10.

Mary Starr, the widow and mother of these children, presented the Inventory in Court.[4]
