Charles Daniel Stedman was born about 1750 likely in the Colony of Connecticut.
He married Lydia Olmstead. There are two known children; their may be others.
In the 1912 genealogy Olmsted Family in America, p. 28, he is given as Charles Stedman. In Early Hartford, p. 576 he is given as Daniel. I have combined the two names into one person until properly sorted out at a later date. No further information was given in either volume for him.
