Biography
Anna (Steffens) Koenigs migrated from Germany to United States of America.
When Anna Maria Steffens was born on September 19, 1836, in Hirten, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, her father, Peter, was 24, and her mother, Anna, was 32. They immigrated to the Fond du Lac area of Wisconsin. She married John Nicholas Brost in 1854 and they had 8 children before his death in 1870. [1]She then married Mathias Koenigs on November 13, 1873 and they had two children together. [2]She died on August 17, 1898, in Taycheedah, Wisconsin, at the age of 61, and was buried in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Find A Grave: Memorial #119145477
