Biography
Janie L Stephenson was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Militia District 853, North Carolina, Floyd County, Georgia for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born January 1897 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Oscar Stephenson, wife Laura H Stephenson, son Alonzo Stephenson, son Gilbert W Stephenson, daughter Millie B Stephenson and servant Joe Perkins.[1]
Jamie Stepherson was enumerated as daughter of the head of the household in Coldwater, Chattooga County, Georgia for the April 25, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1892 in Texas and single. She was farm labor (home farm) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is head Arther F Stepherson, wife Emma Stepherson, son Lonnie Stepherson, son Gilbert Stepherson, daughter Mittie B Stepherson, daughter Jesse Stepherson and daughter Laura Stepherson.[2]
