Research Note
Found a letter outlining the family tree of John William Virgil dated 1864. Sumter County, Alabama.
In it the writer states;
"The father of Mary Eliza Stewart (mother of John Wm. Virgil Eddins) was Larkin Stewart who died 1864. Her Mother was Martha Parker b. 1806 d. 1850
Also states, The father of Larkin Stewart is Charles Stewart and his mother was Miss Clements.
