In 1815, William Hoffman married Elizabeth Stultz in Stokes County, North Carolina. Neither set of parents was referenced on the marriage index. The bondsman/witness was Lewis Hoffman.[1]
In 1860, there was a Mary Stoltz living in the Western Division of Robertson County, Tennessee in the household of Thomas and C Stoltz.[2] Is this the same Mary Elizabeth? She would have been married to William Hoffman at the time, so why wasn't she using the last name of Hoffman? -- Fiscus-32 14:45, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
