Biography

Sterling was born in 1866. He was the son of George Stoner and Elizabeth Wilson. He is list on the 1880 US Census for Louisiana at age 13.


He passed away at just 28 yrs of age, in 1894. Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana, USA

THIRTY YEARS AGO TODAY IN SHREVEPORT. (Culled From Old Files Shreveport Times.) A double wedding took place at the home of Mr. McJimsey, near "Sunny Point, " Texas, Sterling Stoner marrying Miss Emma McJimsey, and John McJimsey being joined in wedlock with Miss Beulah Jackson. Mr. Stoner was the son of Judge G. W. Stoner, of Jewella.
