Josiah Stout, son of Isaac and Mary Quinby Stout, born 1780 Clover Hill, Hunterdon County, NJ and died October 10 1862 in Tazewell, Fulton County, IL. He was a prominent businessman in New Brunswick, NJ. He was living in Somerset County, New Jersey in 1830^[1] with Ann, Charles and Cornelia beside Mary and Samuel Mettler who lived next door to Isaac, her grandfather. They moved to Brooklyn, NY.^[2] Mary stayed in New York, Josiah, Ann, Charles and Cornelia moved to Tazewell County, IL in 1854. He married Ann "Nancy" Prall, daughter of Isaac and Mary Gray Prall.
