Biography
Her headstone shows a death date of 22 Sep 1918, but her death certificate and her brother William's history of the family show it as 26 Sep 1918. The cause of her death was breast cancer. Her burial was at the Mountville Cemetery, Mountville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States.

- Columbia, Sept. 27 -- Mrs. Amos A. Auxer, of Mountville, died Thursday night 8:30 o'clock in the Columbia Hospital, aged 52 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the late home with services at 10 o'clock in the United Brethren church. Interment in Mountville cemetery.
