Biography

Caroline first married David Sylvester Knippers and they had two children. David died around 1862, and Caroline married William Hinson. They had 9 children and the last was John Henry Hinson born in 1884.

Caroline was one of 14 children of Henry David Strickland and Clarissa Catherine Varnado. She married first c1858 to David Sylvester Knippers and they had two children. David died in 1862 and was buried on the old home place, just west of the Hinson Cemetery. Caroline married soon after secondly to William 'Bill' Hinson. They had nine children.
