Deziah Sturtivant was born August 9, 1738, in Halifax, Massachusetts. On Feburary 12, 1758, in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts, Deziah married Abial Lucas, son of Samuel and Abegail Lucas. [1]
Deziah and Abial (aka Abel) made their home at Mallbay, in the District of Gaspé and Province of Lower Canada, where in 1798, their sons built a ship. [2] Children of Deziah and Abial include:
