Bertha S. Sorey, 91, of Mize, homemaker, died Saturday, August 28, 1993, of congestive heart failure at Magee General Hospital.

Services were 2 p.m., Monday, August 30, 1993, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Magee, with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery, Mize. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee handled the arrangements.

Mrs. Sorey was a native of Smith County. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Taylorsville.

Survivors include her husband, Guy Sorey of Mize; one daughter, Hilda Sorey of Mize; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
