Biography

Annie Rebecca "Becca" Sullivan was born 14 Nov 1871[1]in Mississippi to Ephraim T. Sullivan and Annie Hubbard.[2][3][4][5]

She married Hugh W. G. Grayson on 09 Aug 1898 in Rankin County, Mississippi[6][1][7] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Graham Wesley Grayson was born Oct[3] 1899 in Mount Olive, Covington County, Mississippi and died 13 Jul 1972 in Greenville, Washington County, Mississippi.[8][7]
  2. Gus M. Grayson was born about 1903 in Mississippi.[7][4]
  3. Albert Grayson was born 30 Nov 1910 in Mississippi, died 26 May 1951 and is buried in Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, Smith County, Mississippi.[9][10]

Hugh died by 1910 and a widowed Rebecca appears on the census that year alone in Covington County, Mississippi as the mother of 4 children with 3 living.[5]

Rebecca died 05 Mar 1953 in Mount Olive, Covington County, Mississippi[7] and is buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi.[1]
