DEATHS I. S. SULLIVAN

COLLINS, Miss. - Ivans Sylvester Sullivan, 76, RFD 4, Collins, died Monday at Covington County Hospital after an illness of five weeks. He was a retired United Gas employee and a native of Smith County. He was also a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Services were held Tuesday, 2 p.m. from Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. James Roberts and Jerrell Aultman officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors were his widow, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sullivan, RFD 4, Collins, six daughters, Mrs. Lorene Jumonville, Houston, Tex.; Mrs. Erlene Odom [sic s/b Odum], San Antonio, Tex.; Mrs. Minnie Lee King and Mrs. Katie Mae Watts, both of Collins; Mrs. Willie Bell Overby, Pontotoc; Mrs. Geneva Holifield, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one son, Robert E. Sullivan, Livingston, Tex.; one brother, Andrew Sullivan, Mt. Olive; five sisters, Mrs. Estelle Arender and Mrs. Pearlie McQueen, both of Raleigh; Miss Lou Ella Sullivan and Mrs. Colene Thompson, both of Mt. Olive; and Mrs. Effie Coleman, of Mendenhall; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Johns Funeral Home of Collins was in charge.^[10]
