Obedience "Biddy" Sumner Hughes was born about 1765 in Pennsylvania. She passed away about 1829 in south Carolina USA.

Obedience Hughes (born Sumner) was born in 1765, in Pennsylvania, to Hezekiah Sumner and Abigail Sumner (born Bidwell). Hezekiah was born in 1683, in Onslow, North Carolina Abigail was born in 1745, in Onslow, North Carolina Obedience had 3 brothers: Benjamin Sumner and 2 other siblings. Obedience married Andrew Charles Macger Hughes in between 1785 and 1790, at age 20 in South Carolina. Andrew was born on April 4 1755, in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania They had 14 children: Andrew Hughes, Anna Hughes and 12 other children. Obedience lived in between 1763 and 1929, at address, Tennessee. Obedience passed away in 1829, at age 64 at death place, South Carolina.
