Biography

Sarah lost her birthright as a Quaker and was disowned for marrying contrary to her religion, as Nimrod was not a Quaker. She must have left the Quaker religion as she is known to have been a member of the Flat Rock Primitive Baptist Church. (ref) Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol I, NC: "1785, 11, 26. Sarah dis."

Research Notes

I added Quaker template because she was a birthright Quaker. Maybe she need a Baptist template too. Gill-3793 00:17, 19 June 2018 (UTC)

Either Sumner-440 or Sumner-1488 has the wrong parents. The husbands and death dates do not match, but they're linked to the same parents; I doubt that they had two living daughters with the same name.

Summers-635 and Sumner-1488 appear to represent the same person because: Similar name, same husband, same mother
