Biography

Elizabeth King (Suppes) Unger was born in 1863 in Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Conrad Theodor Suppes (1821-1889) and Alice Andrews (1826-1873). She was likely named for her maternal aunt, Elizabeth King (Andrews) Bonacker.

Elizabeth King Suppes (schoolteacher) married John S. Unger (chemist) on 28 Apr 1892.[1][2] Their children were:

  1. William Suppes Unger, Sr. (1893-1969)
  2. Alice Suppes Unger (1897-1980 )

She passed away in 1950 at her home 5538 Aylesboro Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was buried in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Pennsylvania.[3]
