Biography
Christina’s mother, Elizabeth Young, died less than two years after her birth. At age 11, she is listed as living with another family (the Kneeshaws) in Hamilton in 1861[1], which is strange because her father had a second family in Norfolk County[2] near where she was born. Her marriage to James Taylor was witnessed by her cousins, Daniel Young of Hamilton and Burton Young of Barton. No date or location of the wedding[3] was given but the couple was recorded as husband and wife, living with his parents, in the 1871 census[4]. They lived in Barton Township until her death.[5]
