DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:
Thomas Taber and Mary Thompson have two sons listed as Joseph Taber: Taber-55, Taber-1294. They have the same birthdate. Believe they are the same person. However, they are listed with different wives. Taber-1294 is married to Lydia Abbott. This would appear to be in error, as Taber-55 is married to Elizabeth Spooner-13. Her year of death is given as 1743. Lydia Abbott-249 died after 1738. It is possible Joseph remarried after Elizabeth's death, but the marriage date given as 1734 is likely wrong.
Taber-73 and Taber-792 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, death date off be exactly 10 years appears to be atypo, no other useful data for Taber-792
