Hester "Talbot", her maiden name hasn't been proven, it is believed to be Talbot. There isn't a marriage record for her and Henry Caplin.
There was a Hester Talbot baptized 26 March 1620, Romsey, Hampshire, England, "believed to be the daughter of Luke Talbot and Bridget Wheeler". [1][2]

Henry Caplin was already dead in Anne Arundel County BY 1677, when Elizabeth, his relict was wife of Thomas Watkins.

Besson, Hestor, transported BY 1650 by Capt. Thomas Besson, her husband [If this date is correct It would appear that Henry Caplin died around 1649/1650, instead of 1657 and that Hester 'Jeane' married shortly after he died to Capt. Thomas Besson, whose wife Anne had died around 1649/1650.][3]
*Liber CD Walkins of this County of Ann Arundell and that the Said Elizabet dyed ab. the year Annoq Dom 1672 without issue or will. That the Occupation of the Said Caplin's Lands & Tenem.ts were in the hands of Capt. Thomas Bessom who married Hester the Relict & Adrn.rx of the said Caplin & received the issues & profits of the same and also paid the Rents thereof unto Richard Collett his Lordship Receiver until the time of the Intermarriage of the sd Elizabeth onely daughter & Sole heiress of the S.d Caplin the sd Thos Watkins. [The lands of 'Caplin' were in the occupation of 'Besson' until 'Caplin's' daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Watkins BY 1677.][5]

Hester married her second husband, Thomas Besson, soon after her first husband died. They had four children: John, Martha, William and John [6]

Third Marriage: "The widow Hester was married already to Thomas Sutton BY 31 May 1680 Anne Arundel, MD"[7]
In 1680, Hester asked for an allowance for a heiffer given as per will to Martha Aldridge and a mare called Nobsey.[8]
On 31 May 1680 the administration account of Besson's estate was filed. His total inventory came to 16,286 lbs. tobacco; payments came to 10,498 lbs of tobacco, leaving 500 lbs of tobacco to be distributed to his heirs. The account named Martha Aldridge, and will filed by the extx. Hester, "very aged" wife of Thomas Sutton.
