In the 'Descendents of Richard and Elizabeth (Ewen) Talbott the following details are given;
Mary Talbott (22) born 12 April 1742 married William Morsell of Calvert Co. He was originally a slaveholder and a member of the Episcopal church but preferring a clear conscience to wealth he freed his slaves, joined the Society of Friends etc. William and Mary (Talbott) settled in Frederick Co before the Revolution and there two at least of their children were born (Scarf's Hist W. Md p. 806). [2]
