James Targett was christened 5 July 1773 in St Peters, Evercreech, Somerset, England.
Death
James died circa 1850 in St Peters, Evercreech, Somerset, England.
Notes
Ann 'Baker' was the name of the wife of James Targett at the time that they married, but the woman's maiden name was actually Reakes. A number of sources include Stephen Targett in the list of offspring of the marriage of James Targett and Ann (Reakes) Baker. It is reasonable to assume that the new father adopted the son from Ann's earlier marriage.

Targett-13 and Targett-12 appear to represent the same person because: Nothing in Targett-13's profile conradicts the information in Targett-12's profile.
Targett-12 and Targett-21 appear to represent the same person because: Targett-12 shows no spouse data, but one son called Stephen, whose profile shows his mother was called Ann Baker. Ann Baker was the name of the wife of James Targett (Targett-21) at the time that they married, but the woman's maiden name was actually Reakes. A number of sources include Stephen Targett in the list of offspring of the marriage of James Targett and Ann Reakes Baker. It is reasonable to assume that the new father adopted the son from the earlier marriage.
I just posted a comment on your profile of Ann Baker (Baker-9367). According to Ancestry.co.uk, Stephen is the son of a a former husband of Ann Reakes Baker named Charles Baker. Stephen was adopted by James Targett when he married Ann Reakes Baker. Hence Targett-12 is the same person as Targett-21, a separate profile created at the same time by your Gedcom file import. I am proposing a merger of Targett-12 and Targett-21
