Biography

Oliver was in the Spanish American War as a barber. He moved to Iowa about the turn of the century and after the war he moved to New Carlisle, OH. to be close to his sister, Bertha and her husband John Liller who had already moved there. He was also a miner and a farmer during his lifetime. He married Florence Liller, half-sister of Henry Oliver Liller. Birth records shows Ervin Ray Tasker born 9/27/1898 at Elk Garden Mineral Co., WV to O. F and Florence Tasker.
