Biography

Adam Tate, son of Adam Tate and Marie Louise Fontenot, was baptized on 23 Oct. 1803 at age 6 months. His baptism was recorded at recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

He married Eugenie Pitre, daughter of Francois Pitre and Eugenie Guillory, on 22 Jan. 1828, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church.[1]

He married Catherine McDaniel on 22 June 1868, there marriage was recorded at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ville Platte, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana.[1]
