Marriage

1810-1835

The family continued to move west to Hector, in Seneca county in 1810, but it became Tompkins county in 1817. They remained there at least until 1820. By 1825, the family moved across Seneca Lake to Benton, in Yates County. Their son, John McCann jr established his own household in 1830. Between 1830 and 1835 John McCann, Lydia's husband died and she became the head of household.
